Hoverla is the highest peak in Ukraine, and its ascent is a challenge for everyone. Find out how to celebrate one of the most important holidays in the place of strength with a unique Independence Day promotion from Visit Ukraine
The Ukrainian Carpathians are a unique natural attraction known throughout the world. The highest point of the Carpathian Mountains is Mount Hoverla, which is 2061 metres high. Its name comes from the Croatian language and means "snowy mountain". Hoverla is a record-breaking mountain, as it was here that the 110-metre-high Ukrainian flag was unfurled and a record was set in the category "The most massive dance at the highest point". The Carpathians, and Mount Hoverla in particular, are a place of strength for every Ukrainian, their dreams and challenges. Hoverla is a symbol of Ukraine, its strength, freedom and invincibility. The day when the whole country celebrates independence is the best day to set a personal record on the highest point of Ukraine. To mark Independence Day, Visit Ukraine offers a unique promotion for tours that include climbing this mountain. Read more in the article.

Climbing Hoverla
A one-day tour to Hoverla gives everyone the opportunity to test their strength and courage, because it is not an easy task.
Tourists will be able to get in touch with the alpine nature, see stone placers and a hydrological landmark - the source of the Prut River. The first tourist route through the Carpathians was laid in 1880, so for the past 140 years, Ukrainians and foreigners have been making their way to the highest point in Ukraine.
During the tour, tourists are provided with guide services, recreational opportunities in nature reserves, necessary equipment, a group first aid kit, transfer and pre-tour consultations.
The tour lasts about 6 hours and is of medium difficulty.
