The list of people who can apply for damaged or destroyed housing has been expanded

The list of people who can apply for damaged or destroyed property has been expanded. From now on, not only the actual owners can apply for compensation from the state.
Compensation for damaged or destroyed property can be received by:
Individuals
- direct homeowners
- heirs or successors who have not managed to register ownership of housing
- persons who have just invested in housing
Entities
- developers
- members of housing cooperatives who bought housing, but did not manage to register ownership
It will be recalled that applications for damaged or destroyed housing are submitted through Diia application. How to do it, we wrote in the article. Upon receipt of the application, the government will begin an appraisal of the property and begin rebuilding.
The recovery program will take effect as soon as all amendments to the bill are approved by a vote. So far, more than 400,000 Ukrainians have filed claims for lost property.
