UZ stops selling tickets for the popular route Rava-Ruska - Warsaw. Find out more about the reason and which trains continue to run between Ukraine and Poland
Ukrzaliznytsia has announced that it will stop selling tickets for the Rava-Ruska - Warsaw train starting September 22, 2024.
The reasons for this decision and what trains are currently running between the two countries are described in the article.
Rava-Ruska - Warsaw train suspends transportation: details
The reason for this is the expiration of the agreement with the Polish company SKPL, which was responsible for the maintenance of this route.
Please note! Despite the temporary suspension of flights, this route will not be completely canceled. Negotiations are currently underway with another Polish company to resume train service on this route.
We remind you that you can buy tickets (train/bus/plane) from and to Ukraine, as well as between cities around the world, through the convenient Visit Ukraine booking system. The website has a bonus points system that allows you to travel much cheaper.
However, it is not yet known when these negotiations will be completed and traffic will resume.
It is important to note that this route is the fastest way to get from Lviv to Warsaw, taking only 9.5 hours. For comparison, a bus trip takes 9 to 11 hours, making the railroad a more comfortable and faster option for passengers.
So, for now, passengers who were planning to travel on this flight will have to look for alternative options for traveling between Ukraine and Poland until the service is restored.
