Ukrainians in Italy will be able to exchange cash hryvnia for euros

The national banks of Ukraine and Italy have agreed to exchange cash hryvnia for the euro for Ukrainians temporarily staying on Italian territory. This information was published by the head of the NBU Kyrylo Shevchenko on his FB page.
It is noted that the exchange process will be established by the end of this month.
Ukrainian citizens who have received a permit for temporary shelter in Italy will be able to exchange up to 10,000 hryvnias for euros. To do this, you will need to contact local branches of the Central bank and departments of major commercial financial institutions.
About 400 bank branches are expected to take part in the program. A list of them and the current exchange rate will be published on the Bank of Italy's website.
According to Kyrylo Shevchenko, the exchange program also applies to children. Parents or caregivers will be able to exchange cash on their behalf.
