Citizens of Ukraine will be able to issue internal passports abroad

With a new resolution of June 10, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is launching a pilot project to issue domestic and international passports of Ukrainian citizens abroad. Until recently, Ukrainians outside Ukraine could only issue domestic passports, and documents were issued exclusively at diplomatic missions (embassies and consulates).
From now on, the State Migration Service plans to open separate divisions of the State Enterprise "Document" abroad, where citizens of Ukraine will be able to issue both domestic and international passports. The list of countries where documents for passports will be accepted is being developed by the State Migration Service in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The government plans to complete the pilot project within two years.
We will remind that the State Migration Service plans to expand the list of documents for departure of the child abroad.
