What are the programme rules and how much can I get?
The programme does not cover emergency assistance. The grant is available for partnerships involving at least one local organisation in Ukraine and one Dutch company.
The lead applicant must be a Dutch company or civil society organisation.
A total of EUR 32.5 million has been allocated for the partnership programme with Ukraine. The minimum grant amount is EUR 500 thousand and the maximum is EUR 4 million. The programme reimburses up to 95% of total eligible costs for each project. Projects must not be commercially funded or profitable.
When submitting projects, the following conditions must be taken into account: projects must have an impact on further economic and social development in Ukraine, as well as a long-term impact on the local community or a network of businesses and civil society organisations.
For example, these could be projects that promote local employment and job opportunities. Projects that contribute to the restoration of war-damaged or destroyed facilities are also eligible. Feasibility studies, pilot projects, and projects based on technologies that are at an experimental stage are not eligible.
We remind you! The USAID programme has launched a new grant programme for Ukrainian enterprises with funding of $2 million.
