The month of February offers opportunities for entrepreneurs. In particular, 16 current grants and training programs are available. Find out what training programs are available to Ukrainian entrepreneurs after USAID closes, as well as their deadlines and conditions of participation
Although USAID grant programs are no longer available, entrepreneurs in Ukraine are not without support. In February 2025, funding from the EU, international foundations, and humanitarian organizations will be available.
The programs cover a variety of sectors, from agribusiness and technology to energy efficiency and social entrepreneurship.

Funding for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs)
Up to $5000 for the development of your own business in Dnipropetrovska oblast
Amount: up to $5000
Deadline: February 3, 2025
Grantor: NGO “Southern Development Strategy” (SDS) with the support of the Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH)
The grant is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses, as well as start-ups, relocated enterprises and IDPs. The funds can be used for equipment, rental of premises, marketing and professional services.

Grant $3000 for business recovery in Kharkiv region
Amount: up to $1500
Deadline: February 2, 2025
Grantor: NGO “uBoost” with the support of the Razom Foundation
The program “Create Here!” helps young people from the frontline regions to get funds for their own business. Participants aged 16-24 will also receive training and mentoring support.

117 000 UAH for business development in Poltava and Dnipropetrovs'k regions

- Deadline: February 9, 2025
- Grantor: Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, Czech AID
This program supports war-affected entrepreneurs in Poltava and Dnipro oblasts. Funds can be used to purchase equipment, materials, or consulting services. The grant is available to IDPs, veterans, people with disabilities, single parents, and people who have lost their homes or sources of income.
Details of the project can be found on the organization 's Facebook page . To apply, you should fill out an online form and provide documents (business plan/presentation of a business idea, proof of social vulnerability, letters of recommendation or certificates).
Grant up to €4000 for environmental and digital business transformation

- Grantor: European Union
This program supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the social economy that implement environmental and digital solutions. Funding covers consulting, certification, training, and acceleration programs. Businesses from energy-intensive industries (chemical, metallurgy, woodworking, construction, transportation, etc.) in Ukraine, the EU, the EEA, and the Eastern Partnership countries are eligible to apply.

Grantor: UN Global Compact in Ukraine with the support of PepsiCo Foundation
Funding is available for small and microbusiness entrepreneurs who want to start or develop an agribusiness.

Garden grant for farmers and small businesses
Amount: from 140,000 to 400,000 UAH per hectare
Deadline: open-ended program
Grantor: Diia.Business initiative
The initiative helps farmers create orchards with an area of 1 to 25 hectares, covering up to 70% of the cost of planting fruit trees and berry crops.

Funding for technology startups and innovations
Grant up to €66,000 for cooperation with students
Amount: up to €66,000
Deadline: February 26, 2025
Grantor: European Union
Companies can receive funding for the joint development of innovative solutions with the involvement of students. Details at the link.
COROB grant up to €67,500 for industrial innovation
Amount: up to €67,500
Deadline: March 1, 2025
Grantor: European Union
Funding for the development of robotic solutions for welding processes, as well as technologies based on artificial intelligence.

Support for FinTech, Cleantech, and AI startups

FinTech, Cleantech, and AI startups will get access to investors, mentorship, and the opportunity to present their projects.

Environmental and energy-efficient solutions
EENergy program: up to €10,000 for energy efficiency for SMEs
Amount: up to €10,000
Deadline: February 28, 2025
Grantor: Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)
The funding helps businesses reduce energy consumption by 5% by investing in new technologies.
To apply, you should contact your local EEN contact point for advice and to prepare a plan.
Grants of up to €20,000 for energy efficient equipment
Amount: up to €20,000
Deadline: open-ended program
Grantor: Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) and GIZ
The program helps micro and small businesses improve energy efficiency through autonomous energy sources.
To receive a grant under the Energy Sustainability Program, entrepreneurs must fill out an application on the Financial Support Navigator Portal of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund.
Opportunities to enter international markets
Ukraine-Ready4EU: €2500 to enter the EU single market
Amount: €2500
Deadline: June 30, 2025 (or until the funding is exhausted)
Grantor: European Union
The program helps Ukrainian SMEs certify their products, adapt them to European standards, and participate in international exhibitions.

Business internship for young entrepreneurs from Erasmus
Amount: depends on the country of residence

Grantor: European Commission
Young entrepreneurs can do an internship in European companies and receive monthly funding.
The program is open-ended. You can apply through the Erasmus+ platform at the link, adding a CV and business plan.
The amount of support depends on the chosen country. These funds are intended to cover travel and accommodation costs.
Support for businesses affected by the war

Amount: up to $4000

Grantor: Czech humanitarian organization “Person in Need”
The program helps entrepreneurs who have lost their business due to the war to restore it and hire employees.

Bake4Ukraine: grant for bakeries in the affected regions
Deadline: open-ended program
Grantor: CO “Perspective 21.3” and “Zealandia Ukraine”
Support for small and medium-sized businesses in the bakery industry in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy and other regions.
