How to recover damaged, lost or stolen license plates?

The war left thousands of Ukrainians without housing and cars. Many vehicles were damaged or lost their license plates during the evacuation. If you have lost your license plates, they are damaged or stolen, you can restore them at the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
You must have with you:
1. the passport
2. identification code
3. vehicle registration certificate
4. certificate from the National Police (in case of license plate theft).
If the owner of the vehicle is a legal entity, an official investigation report is provided.
The administrator will re-register your vehicle (must be present during the procedure) and issue new license plates and registration certificate.
Found license plates after the issuance of new ones are considered invalid and are handed over to the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
