Georgia has extended its support for Ukrainian refugees. Find out who is eligible for 300 and 45 lari, as well as the conditions under which payments will cease
Georgia continues to support Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave their country due to the war. The government has decided to extend cash assistance payments to Ukrainian refugees for another year, until April 1, 2026. This was reported by radiotavisupleba.ge, citing official decisions by the Georgian government.
What financial assistance will Ukrainians receive in Georgia?
According to the government decree, Ukrainian citizens who entered Georgia due to the hostilities in Ukraine, as well as persons who have the right to permanent residence in Ukraine, will receive the following social and economic support: 300 lari per family and 45 lari per person.
Payments will be made until April 1, 2026.

Who compiles the lists for payments
Funding will be provided on the basis of lists prepared by the Social Services Agency. The data is submitted by LEPL — the Agency for Internally Displaced Persons, Economic Migrants and Livelihood Support. These structures determine which persons are eligible for assistance.
When payments may be terminated
The resolution also specifies the cases in which funding will be terminated:
● 45 lari per person will not be paid from next month if the person: has become eligible for monthly assistance of 45 lari under the Georgian Law on International Protection or has left the territory of Georgia.
● 300 lari per family will no longer be paid from next month if all family members leave Georgia.
Thus, support is directly linked to the actual stay of Ukrainians in the country.
