Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced the expansion of its summer flight program from Poland. In 2026, the airline will launch three new direct flights to popular seaside resorts, which may be particularly convenient for Ukrainians traveling or planning a vacation abroad.

This is stated in an official announcement on the airline's website.

New Wizz Air flights from Poland in 2026

The new routes will depart from two Polish airports — Warsaw-Modlin and Krakow. All destinations lead to popular seaside resort towns.

Flights from Warsaw-Modlin

Wizz Air is launching two new routes from Warsaw-Modlin Airport:

1. Warsaw-Modlin – Varna (Bulgaria).

● Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

● Flights will start on May 21, 2026.

2. Warsaw-Modlin – Rimini (Italy)

● Flights are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

● The first flight will be on May 22, 2026.

Both destinations are geared towards the summer tourist season and provide quick access to the Black Sea and Adriatic coast.

Flight from Krakow

The third new route will open in southern Poland:

3. Krakow – Rhodes (Greece)

● Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

● First flight — June 9, 2026.

Rhodes is one of the most popular Greek islands, traditionally in high demand during the summer season.

Ticket prices and flight conditions

The cost of tickets for new flights starts at PLN 109 for the minimum fare without baggage, which is approximately UAH 1,305. The final price depends on the departure date, demand, and additional services.

For Ukrainians planning to travel through Poland, such flights can be a convenient option for vacations or transit trips. Given the extensive ground transportation network, you can get to Warsaw or Krakow by bus or train, and then continue your journey by plane. Conveniently, the Visit Ukraine platform offers a ticket booking system for all types of transport, allowing you to plan your entire trip in one place, combining ground and air transport.

We remind you! Wizz Air, Ryanair, and easyJet are preparing to quickly return to the Ukrainian aviation market after the opening of the airspace. Airlines predict an increase in passenger traffic and the restoration of routes to meet demand. Read more about low-cost airlines' plans and the expected launch of flights.
