In Ukraine, international money transfers are carried out according to special rules established by the National Bank and banking institutions. These rules impose restrictions not only on the maximum amounts allowed, but also on the list of countries to which funds can be sent. Find out how much money you are allowed to send outside the country
In 2026, money transfers outside Ukraine will only be possible in compliance with established rules. These rules regulate both the maximum amounts for international transfers and the list of countries to which funds may be sent.
These restrictions are in place to control currency transactions and maintain the stability of the financial system. Therefore, before making an international transfer, it is worth checking the current limits and possible restrictions imposed by banks.
We will tell you how much money you can transfer abroad in 2026 in this article.

What are the limits on international transfers in 2026?
In 2026, Ukrainians will have the right to transfer up to 100,000 hryvnia per month abroad to another person's bank card.

How much cash is allowed to be taken out of Ukraine?
It is worth mentioning the rules for crossing the border with cash. Residents of Ukraine can take up to 10,000 euros or the equivalent of this amount in another currency without additional formalities.

If the amount exceeds the specified limit, the cash must be declared and you must have documents confirming the legality of its origin.
