Against the backdrop of a sharp escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, triggered by massive strikes by the United States and Israel on targets in Iran, the situation in the Persian Gulf region has reached a critical point. In response to the attack, Tehran began striking a number of countries in the region, posing a direct threat to the safety of foreign citizens in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

What steps should Ukrainians in the Middle East take?

Due to the overload of telephone lines and the sharp deterioration in the security situation, the diplomatic mission is introducing a special communication regime.

In this regard, all Ukrainian citizens who are forced to remain in the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain must fill out an information and registration form as soon as possible.

This form is now the main means of communication with the consular section of the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai.
