Deferral for parents with multiple children through Reserve+: how to submit an online request in 2026?
The Reserve+ app continues to expand the list of deferrals from mobilization that can be applied for online. Recently, the option to submit a request for parents with multiple children was added to the list — without visits to the TCC and paper documents. Learn more about the conditions for obtaining a deferral, possible reasons for refusal, and the full list of categories available in the app
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announces the expansion of the capabilities of the Reserve+ application — now parents with multiple children can apply for a deferral from mobilization online. Previously, this category of conscripts had to apply to the TCC or ASC in person, gathering a package of documents.
Who is eligible for such a deferral, what conditions must be met, and how the application procedure works — we will explain further in this article.

Which parents with multiple children are eligible for deferment from mobilization?
Conscripts who are raising three or more children under the age of 18 can take advantage of the new feature in Reserve+. An important detail: all children must be born in Ukraine. At the same time, it does not matter in which marriage the children were born — children from both the same and different marriages, as well as those born out of wedlock, are taken into account.
In addition to the number of children, there is a mandatory financial condition. The applicant must not be in arrears with alimony payments. Debts are allowed, but only within the limits of three months' payments. Exceeding this threshold automatically becomes grounds for refusing to grant a deferral. Also, the applicant's personal data — surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth, and TIN — must be correctly entered in the state registers.
About deferral after contract and service after 60 years of age — we tell you here.
Why can a deferral be denied through Reserve+ and what to do?
A deferral request may be rejected for several reasons. The most common is that the data in the state registers is incorrect or out of date. For example, data on children or marital status may be entered incorrectly or not updated. In this case, the applicant must first contact the relevant authorities and update the information.
The second typical reason for rejection is arrears in alimony payments exceeding the amount for three months. To obtain a deferral, you must first pay off the debt and then submit a new request in the application. The system performs the check automatically, so any non-compliance with the criteria immediately blocks a positive decision.

How to apply for a deferral for large families in Reserve+?
The procedure is as simple as possible and does not require any paper documents. The applicant submits a request directly in the Reserve+ app (App Store | Google Play), after which the system automatically checks the grounds through state registries. There is no need to collect references, write applications by hand, or visit the TCC or ASC.
If all grounds are confirmed, the deferral is granted automatically, and the relevant information is immediately reflected in the applicant's electronic military registration document. According to the Ministry of Defense, the entire process usually takes from a few minutes to several hours.

What other deferrals are available online in Reserve+ in 2025?
Currently, the Reserve+ application allows you to apply for 11 types of deferrals from mobilization without bureaucratic procedures. In addition to parents with many children, online requests are available for people with disabilities who are temporarily unfit for service, parents of children with disabilities under the age of 18, and parents of adult children with disabilities of group I or II.
Deferrals through the app can also be obtained by conscripts whose husband or wife has a disability of group I or II, those who have parents with a disability of group I or II, women and men who are military personnel with a child, parents who are raising a child under the age of 18 on their own, as well as students, graduate students, and employees of higher and vocational education institutions.
