The Diia portal has begun testing a new digital service for military personnel. This service allows them to apply online for a one-time cash grant from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine—without unnecessary bureaucracy or paperwork.

The launch of the beta testing was announced on the portal’s official Telegram channel. Active-duty service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are willing to participate in testing the service can already use this new feature.

Who can apply for the funds?

The service is available to all active-duty members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, there is an important restriction: if a service member has already received a one-time cash benefit, and their disability category or percentage of loss of working capacity has not changed, they will not be able to reapply and receive the payment.

This rule prevents duplicate payments and ensures the fair distribution of state assistance.

How to join the beta testing?

To apply and participate in testing the new service, follow these simple steps:

1. Click the link on the Diia portal;

2. Review the terms and information about the service;

3. Fill in the required information:

- Full name,

- Tax ID,

- Email address;

4. Click the “Register” button;

5. Wait for a notification about the start of beta testing at the provided email address.

After receiving confirmation, users will be able to submit an application online and evaluate the convenience of the new service.

The launch of this service is another step toward the digitization of government services and simplifying access to social benefits for military personnel. Online application submission saves significant time, minimizes lines, and reduces the burden on government agencies.

In the future, after the beta testing is complete, the service will become available to a wider range of users and may completely replace the paper-based application process for benefits.

We remind you!
 In 2026, Ukraine has extended benefits for housing and utility services and fuel purchases for certain categories of citizens. The new rules are designed to support the most vulnerable groups and reduce the financial burden during this period. Read about who is eligible for benefits, the conditions for receiving them, and what has changed in 2026.
