One of Ukraine’s most famous botanical gardens—Sofiyivka in Uman—has officially opened the new tourist season. This was announced on the “Uman Tourist” Facebook page. Every year, the park attracts thousands of visitors, and spring is traditionally considered one of the best times to visit.

What are the operating hours for Sofiyivka Park in 2026?

During the new season, the arboretum is open daily:

● from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM — for visitors,

● until 6:00 PM — for service facilities.

How much is admission to Sofiyivka?

In 2026, the following admission prices have been set:

● adult ticket — 200 UAH,

● child (school-age) — 100 UAH,

● free for residents of Uman.

Visitors can also take advantage of guided tour services: adult tour — 70 UAH, children’s tour — 40 UAH.

What happens in the park in the spring?

According to the administration, spring in “Sofiyivka” unfolds gradually — the park is just beginning to come to life after winter.

“Just a little longer—and the park will bloom in full, bursting with colors and scents,” the announcement notes.

During this period, visitors can:

● see the first spring flowers,

● enjoy the quiet and fewer tourists,

● experience the atmosphere of nature’s “slow” awakening.

The very start of the season is often chosen by those who want to avoid peak crowds and see the park in a more peaceful state.

Also, starting in April, the arboretum traditionally hosts a variety of events. These include art exhibitions, workshops, and other cultural events for visitors.
