Children of displaced persons will be provided with winter clothes in YaMariupol centers

A program to provide winter clothing for children under 14 years of age has been launched in the "YaMariupol" centers to support displaced families. This is reported by the Mariupol City Council.
On the initiative of the mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boychenko, a survey of Mariupol families was conducted in the centers for a month regarding their needs for warm things for children for the winter, in order to form a database with a list of clothes and sizes. However, work on this program began back in August.
Currently, 13 "YaMariupol" support centers are operating in different cities of Ukraine, three more will be opened in the near future.
We will remind you! The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine together with UNICEF will provide winter clothing for the children of internally displaced persons. Firstly, winter sets will be provided to large families of IDPs.
Every child in a migrant family - that is, babies and children aged 2 to 14 years - will be able to receive a warm modern kit, which will consist of a winter jacket, sweater or sweatshirt, thermal clothing, winter and sports pants, socks, winter boots, a hat, a scarf and gloves You can find out more at the link.
