Financial assistance to citizens of Ukraine in Georgia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany and the charity organization ASB-SSK-UniteTogether initiated the launch of the new UKR CASH TRANSFER Financial Support Program for Ukrainians in Georgia. It started on September 10, 2022, and is intended for those refugees who currently live in Georgia and belong to groups of vulnerable population categories.
Who can get help?
Since the UKR CASH TRANSFER Assistance Program for Ukrainians is initiated by non-state funds, the amount of funds is limited. It is planned to provide support to 2,400 Ukrainians. In order to identify exactly those families that need help, priority categories of vulnerability are given.
According to the rules of the Program, payments are provided for each family member if:
1. You are a Ukrainian fleeing war, need financial assistance and have been in Georgia since February 1, 2022.
2. Your family or at least one of its members meets the vulnerability criteria:
• a person with disabilities or a seriously ill person;
• a person older than 60 years;
• there are three or more children in your family;
• single-parent families without permanent income.
How to apply?
In order to receive financial assistance, fill out the form at the link. Verification of the data of Ukrainians who applied in September is currently underway. The possibility of filling out registration forms will be restored from October 16, 2022. The application is filled out by one family representative and registers all family members who are currently in Georgia and claim assistance.
Forms filled out in October will be considered for payments in November. Collection of questionnaires will be open throughout the duration of the Program.
After filling out the form, a UniteTogether representative will contact you to check the data as part of the face-to-face meeting of the applicant for help with the program curators. An interview is held at the office of the charity UniteTogether or the coordinator will visit you at your place of temporary residence if you are unable to move freely. The verification process lasts 2 weeks, after which your data will be transferred for crediting payments.
What is the payout amount?
As part of the UKR CASH TRANSFER Program, a Ukrainian will receive 6 payments of 235 GEL (86 EUR) for each family member.
The Program is valid from October to March. According to the conditions, you will receive a double payment in October, and you will receive the last one in February.
Please note that only those Ukrainians who will be in Georgia from October 2022 to March 2023 can receive financial assistance. To receive payments, it is necessary to undergo a monthly physical verification.
You can find out more detailed information and follow the news of the Program on social networks: Facebook, Instagram and Telegram.
We will also remind you that we previously told that citizens of Ukraine who entered Georgia in connection with military operations in Ukraine will receive financial assistance in the amount of 300 GEL per family.
