How to prepare for emergency power outages?

• Prepare flashlights with spare batteries for each family member;

• Keep a supply of non-perishable food and water;

• Keep mobile phones, power banks and other electrical devices charged;

• Monitor local notification networks;

• Prepare electrical appliances and electronics in accordance with the instructions;

• Limit electricity consumption from 17:00 to 22:00;

• If necessary, make an action plan with your doctor in case of a power outage. Find an alternative way to cool medicines and power medical devices.

• If necessary, purchase an electric generator and a fuel supply;

• If necessary, pay electricity bills.

How to protect yourself during emergency power outages?

• Use food products that do not require refrigeration;

• Keep refrigerators and freezers closed;

• Monitor the use of heating devices and generators. Do not use gas stoves for heating;

• Use the generator outside the premises;

• Disconnect electrical appliances and electronics from sockets;

• Do not use elevators;

• Check your neighbors;

• If necessary, go to a public place where there is electricity;

• Do not try to restore the power supply yourself;
