Do Ukrainians need a visa to China?
Ukrainian citizens do need a visa to China. Due to the fact that the Chinese Consulates in Ukraine are temporarily not accepting foreigners, Ukrainian citizens should apply to the foreign diplomatic missions of the PRC in neighboring countries. The rules for obtaining a visa in each country may differ.

Starting from May 15, 2024, foreign citizens can cross the border at ports and stay in China without a visa for 15 days. To pass border control without a visa, they must be part of a tourist group hosted by a travel company from China. The group must consist of at least two people.
This applies to crossing the border in the ports of such cities as Tianjin, Dalian, Shanghai, Lianyungang, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Beihai, Haikou and Sanya.
Do I need a visa to enter Tibet?
A Chinese visa is required to enter Tibet. There is no separate visa to Tibet, but foreigners can enter only with an official tourist permit issued by the Tibetan Autonomous Region Tourism Bureau (TAR), abbreviated as TIB. According to the laws of China, travel to Tibet is only possible as part of a group of tourists (at least 5 people).

Prohibited. Entry to Macao SAR is possible only from the territory of China.
How can Ukrainians get a tourist visa to China?

How to travel abroad with a child?
According to the current legislation of Ukraine, the following rules apply to children traveling abroad during martial law:
- Children under 16 can travel with one parent without the consent of the other.
- The child may also travel with a grandparent, adult brother or sister, stepmother, stepfather or other persons with the notarized permission of one of the parents.
- Children over 16 years of age have the right to leave independently in accordance with Article 313 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.
- The main routes of departure are through the airports of neighboring countries (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Moldova).

Transit rules of China for Ukrainian citizens
Since December 2024, China has significantly changed its visa-free transit rules. Now Ukrainian citizens can stay in China for up to 240 hours (10 days) without a visa if they are transiting to a third country.
The main conditions of visa-free transit for Ukrainians are as follows

✅ Entry points - 60 international airports in 24 provinces of China.

The route must include:
- arrival from one country;
