Czech Republic Education

Student visa
Today, the Czech education system adheres to the Bologna Process. The Czech University System also boasts some of the best educational programs in Europe with an emphasis on quality, diversity, accessibility and relevance.
Depending on their education, students can choose an undergraduate, master's or doctor of Science degree. On average, an undergraduate degree program in the Czech Republic lasts from 3 to 4 years. Master's degree programs can last from 1 to 3 years (as a continuation of Bachelor's degree programs) or they can be full-fledged programs lasting from 4 to 6 years. The doctoral program can last from 3 to 4 years.
What documents are required for admission to the University?
In general, the list of documents that you need to submit for admission may vary slightly, depending on the chosen university and direction.
Among the main documents that are usually required in all universities are a motivation letter and a letter of recommendation. Universities will also require proof of completion of previous training. To meet this requirement, send the University an official transcript from your high school if you are applying for an undergraduate degree, or from a previous university if you want to earn a master's degree or higher.
If you plan to study in English, you also need to successfully pass the English proficiency test.
What is the tuition fee and who can apply for scholarships in the Czech Republic?

If you are fluent in Czech and would like to study in Czech, higher education in public educational institutions is free of charge. By law, Czech language programs are free for all students, regardless of their nationality.
If you wish to study in English or a language other than Czech, universities have the right to charge tuition fees. The cost varies depending on the University and program.
