What do Ukrainians need to enter the Dominican Republic?
- A valid international passport: The passport must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of arrival in the country.
- Confirmation of return ticket: You must have a confirmation of your return flight or onward travel.
- Proof of financial solvency: Proof of sufficient financial resources to stay in the country (money, bank statements, etc.) may be required for entry.
- Health insurance: is recommended.
- Migration card (e-ticket): Before arriving in the country, you need to fill out an electronic ticket (e-ticket) that includes immigration and customs data. This form can be filled out on the official website of the Dominican Republic.
Currently, when entering the Dominican Republic, insurance policies are often checked along with accommodation reservations and return tickets as confirmation of the actual tourist purpose of the trip.
The procedure for filling out the Migration Card (e-ticket):
1. Go to the official website to fill out the e-ticket: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do.
2. Fill out the form with your personal data, flight information, addresses of stay and other details.
3. After filling out the form, you will receive a QR code that you need to save on your phone or print and present at border control.
How much money do you need to cross the border
When entering the Dominican Republic, border services may check that you have sufficient funds to stay in the country. There is no officially established minimum amount, but travelers must have enough money to pay for accommodation, living expenses, and a return ticket.
If you are bringing in cash or financial instruments worth more than USD 10,000, you must declare them in accordance with customs regulations.
