Studying in Poland for Ukrainians

Today, the Polish education system adheres to the Bologna process and offers public and private institutions where you can obtain bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees. The academic year lasts from October to June and is divided into winter and spring semesters.

There are more than 500 universities to choose from in Poland, 16 of which are included in the QS World University Rankings, and 25 of them in the QS EECA University Rankings.

In addition, the absence of entrance exams to Polish universities makes this option much more attractive for foreign students. You will only need a certificate of secondary education, a certificate of financial capacity and knowledge of English or Polish.

What documents are required for admission to a university?

In general, the list of documents that you need to submit for admission may differ slightly, depending on the chosen university and field. In general, for admission to a Polish higher education institution, you must submit:

• Valid passport and passport size photos;

• Pre-secondary certificate or degree certificate depending on the level you are applying for;

• Good knowledge of English or Polish, confirmed by the results of a language test.
