How to issue an IDP certificate: 3 ways to register as a resettled person
With the beginning of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the East of Ukraine, and later a full-scale war and an attempt to annex our territories, millions of compatriots were forced to leave, leaving behind their relatives and all their property.
During the months of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the number of internally displaced persons increased significantly. Such citizens in the territories controlled by the Ukrainian authorities can receive the status of IDPs.
To date, you can apply for IDP status in several ways:
• Directly at the Center for the provision of administrative services of the community where the internally displaced person is located;
• Through the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population;
• Through the mobile application "Diia" in the smartphone.
What documents are required to issue an IDP certificate?
In order to submit an application in state institutions, you need to have with you documents certifying identity and certifying the registration of a person in a settlement that was occupied or where active hostilities are taking place.
The application through the "Diia" mobile application can be made with the help of a few clicks after the authorization of the person. The program will automatically register the applicant and their children (if any) for status and cash assistance.
We would like to remind that assistance to IDPs is provided monthly in the amount of:
• UAH 2,000 per adult;
• UAH 3,000 per child or person with a disability.
In case of questions or problems with obtaining status or assistance, you can contact the free hotline at the number: 0800 333 183;
Also, the Ministry of Reintegration accepts appeals from citizens under the short number 15-48.
Issuance of aid for IDPs and certificates for crossing the border for people with disabilities
Currently, the Department of Social Protection of the Population accepts documents from "Diia" for registration of IDP aid and certificates for crossing the border for people with disabilities.
Pay attention! From now on, it is possible to issue assistance to IDPs and a certificate for crossing the border to people with disabilities with documents in "Diia" in all social welfare offices. Therefore, it is not necessary to carry physical documents or their copies. It is enough to share the necessary documents in a few clicks through the application.
Such a function became possible thanks to information exchanges between the "Diia" application and the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere.
To share a copy of a document, you need to:
• go to the "Diia" application
• click on the document you want to share
• select a barcode
• provide the employee with social security management
• read the barcode
• confirm the request to transfer copies of documents in the application
Sharing documents will help avoid mistakes when entering your personal data into the database and speed up service.
