What is the payment amount?

The amount of the payment will be 470 Georgian lari per child.

How to get funds?

Parents or legal representatives of children must write a statement to the territorial or regional office of the Social Service Agency.

Be sure to bring your passport and your child's passport or birth certificate.

Search for the addresses of the social services of Georgia using the link. In case of questions, call the hotline 1505.

Pay attention! You need to apply for payment by March 1, 2023.

How many Ukrainian refugees are in Georgia?

Currently, there are about 30,000 refugees in Georgia. Ukrainians can enter Georgia without a visa and stay in the country for a year.

In order to obtain refugee status or humanitarian status, you need to write an application at the border or apply to any other state authority upon entering the country. However, the Department of Migration is the main body responsible for processing the asylum procedure.

State social assistance for Ukrainians in Georgia

Georgia pays financial assistance to Ukrainian families within three months after arrival in the country: 300 GEL per family and an additional 45 GEL for each other family member. Only the social service body can appoint a payment.

We would like to add that only those who crossed the border with Georgia after February 2022 can apply for financial aid.
