Is it safe to travel to Ukraine now?
The hostilities are concentrated in the southern and eastern regions of the country, in particular, in the regions bordering russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea. However, unfortunately, there are no completely safe regions, as there is still a threat of rocket attacks and attacks by drones.
Therefore, foreigners planning a trip to Ukraine should take into account certain restrictions. To ensure that your trip is as safe and peaceful as possible, please follow the following rules:
1. Do not ignore the air raid alert! After arriving in Ukraine, be sure to familiarize yourself with the map of the nearest shelters and install the Air Alert app (from the App Store or Google Play). In the event of an air raid alert, immediately go to the nearest shelter!
2. Observe the curfew.
3. Take care of reliable health insurance. To enter Ukraine, foreigners must purchase an appropriate insurance policy, but we recommend choosing insurance with military risk coverage, which covers not only basic medical services and treatment, but also unforeseen war-related expenses.
Do not neglect basic safety rules and travel safely with Visit Ukraine!
