New Year's Eve is approaching, but the curfew in Kyiv will remain unchanged during the winter holidays. The decision was made by the Kyiv Defense Council. This is stated in the message of the Kyiv City State Administration.
There will be no mass events in the capital on New Year's Eve and a curfew will be in effect at night
According to the decision, the curfew will last, as usual, from 00:00 to 05:00.
As you know, in 2022, during the last New Year's holidays, the curfew was not canceled either. It lasted from 23:00 to 05:00.

It is important to note that no mass events, fairs, or celebrations are planned for Christmas and New Year in Kyiv.
"There will be no mass events, fairs or celebrations in Kyiv on Christmas and New Year's Eve. This decision was made by the Kyiv Defense Council," the official statement said.
As for the New Year's tree in Kyiv, it will be installed on St. Sophia Square at the expense of patrons. In addition, no budget funds will be spent on electricity, as the tree will be decorated with energy-saving garlands.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for December 6, St. Nicholas Day according to the New Julian calendar. The process of assembling the Christmas tree began on December 3, and it will be decorated until January 10.
A photo zone will also be organized on St. Sophia Square, where several small Christmas trees will be placed. Anyone will be able to take a Christmas toy by making a donation to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
