Diia.Signature for legal entities: the government supported the changes
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution regulating the issue of obtaining an electronic signature by legal entities. Learn more about what this means for business and what changes to expect in the future
On January 26, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended the Regulation on the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services. According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, this will allow to start working on a service that will allow legal entities to remotely receive Diia.Signature.

What will change for legal entities with Diia.Signature?
Diia.Signature is the most secure electronic signature that can be activated in seconds in the Diia app. With this tool, all documents can be signed online. In addition, Diia.Signature can be used for authorization on platforms and applications. Previously, this service was available only to individuals.
However, thanks to the adopted resolution, legal entities will also be able to generate an electronic signature in the application in the future, regardless of the martial law in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, this will greatly simplify business, help speed up processes and make actions more transparent for entrepreneurs.

How to get a Diia.Signature?
First of all, to obtain an electronic signature, the user must log in to the Diia portal. The application must contain one of these documents:
– ID card
– biometric passport
– foreign passport issued after 2015
– temporary or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
After authorization, the user must:
1. Go to the menu "Action.Signature"
2. Click the button "Activate Diia.Signature"
3. Confirm your identity through photo verification
4. Come up with and memorize a 5-digit code for Diia.Signature
After that, the electronic signature is ready to use. The service is free of charge.
