Passports can now be issued at foreign branches of the state enterprise Document only by prior electronic appointment. This innovation is aimed at facilitating the process and avoiding unpredictable queues at consular offices. Learn more about the update
Starting April 15, document processing services at foreign branches of the state-owned enterprise Document will be available only by prior electronic appointment.
According to a message posted on the Facebook page of the Passport Service Center, the "live queue" system will be discontinued.
Passport abroad: from now on, issuance of the document is possible only by electronic appointment
It is noted that starting from April 15, the foreign departments of the State Enterprise "Document" will accept citizens by appointment to the electronic queue for issuing documents.
In particular, the relevant rules came into force in such countries as:
• Germany (Munich, Berlin, Cologne),
• Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk),
• Spain (Madrid, Valencia),
• Czech Republic (Prague),
• Slovakia (Bratislava),
• Italy (Milan).
• Turkey (Istanbul).
The Ministry notes that the "live queue" format will no longer be available. In this regard, the foreign offices of SE "Document" have expanded the number of pre-registration coupons and strengthened the user identification verification systems.

It is worth noting that the receipt and issuance of documents is still carried out in accordance with the "live queue" procedure.
The Passport Service emphasized that the foreign departments are working on priority areas to ensure timely and transparent service delivery and provide quality service to Ukrainian citizens.
Registration in the electronic queue is free of charge and available on the official website of the State Enterprise "Document".
As you know, the new law on mobilization contains a provision according to which Ukrainian men who are abroad must update their data at Ukrainian missions or through an electronic cabinet within 60 days.
Importantly, the law does not provide for any obligation to return to Ukraine after this period.
Due to the growing demand for passports abroad, the Passport Service Center has decided to amend the rules for obtaining documents.
We remind you! The updated law on mobilization also proposes changes to the rules for obtaining a passport abroad for men. Read how the new rules will affect the process of obtaining consular services and whether men face deportation from abroad in our previous article.
