Ukrainian students will study for free at Irish universities this year: details

The Irish authorities will cover the tuition fees of Ukrainian students who plan to enter universities in the country this year. This was reported by RTE.
One of the European countries compensates the cost of university education for students from Ukraine: what is known
The Irish government has announced the abolition of university tuition fees for Ukrainian students for this year. The Office of Further and Higher Education of Ireland has confirmed that university tuition fees will be canceled again for graduates from Ukraine.
Minister of Education Patrick O'Donovan said he plans to extend last year's agreements that provide refugees with free access to higher education.

According to the State Examination Commission, at least 550 Ukrainian students took exams this year.
Interestingly, the number of those who took the russian language exam more than doubled this year compared to two years earlier. In 2022, 432 candidates registered for the russian language exam, last year there were 548, and this year there were 889.
In total, just over 18,000 children and teenagers from Ukraine study in Irish schools.
Earlier, students and their teachers were worried that due to the reduction of other aid for refugees from Ukraine, education for Ukrainian students could become paid, but this did not happen.
