Individuals and legal entities in Ukraine now have the opportunity to sign documents with European partners through a special electronic document management system called Schrift. It has functions for signing international contracts, invoices, reconciliations, etc.

Earlier, we reported that Ukraine has successfully implemented the CRS Common Reporting Standard, which means that the Ukrainian tax service will have access to bank accounts of Ukrainian citizens abroad.

Features of the Schrift electronic document management system

The platform allows you to use both European and Ukrainian qualified electronic signatures (QES). You don't need to install an application, the service works in a browser. Signatures will be legally valid in both Ukraine and the EU.

The main functions of Schrift:

1. Exchange of information with contact persons and recording of agreements;

2. Indication of contact persons for signature when creating and working on documents;

3. Choosing a signature method (set by the Schrift system or only by a qualified QES);

4. Collaboration on documents, team approval of contract terms, etc.

There are currently 3 Schrift tariff plans available:

1. Free: signing of documents within the company and a full range of work with them, storage capacity of 5 GB;

2. 180 UAH per month: access to documents via a link, advanced administration, 100 GB of storage;

3. 290 UAH per month: search by file content, analytics of staff performance, 100 GB of storage.

The EU does not use the DSTU signing algorithm, which is used in most key certificates issued in Ukraine. Therefore, the Ministry of Digital Transformation recommends using Ukrainian QESs with international certificates. Currently, Ukrainian key certificates are recognized in the EU as improved. This is the procedure until the mutual recognition of Ukrainian and European QESs. Currently, Ukrainian CEPs are lower in terms of credibility, but will have the force of evidence in a European court.
