Road vignette prices to rise in the Czech Republic: when and how much?

Are you planning a trip to the Czech Republic? Find out how the price increase for road vignettes from 1 January 2025 can affect your budget
Starting 1 January 2025, drivers planning a trip to the Czech Republic will have to face some unpleasant news: The Czech Ministry of Transport has decided to increase the price of all types of road vignettes. Here's how the price will change.
Price of vignettes in the Czech Republic in 2025
🔻 Annual vignette: will increase by 140 CZK and cost 2440 CZK instead of the current 2300 CZK.
🔻 Monthly vignette: its price will increase to 460 CZK (currently 430 CZK).
🔻 Ten-day vignette: the price will rise to 290 CZK (currently 270 CZK).
🔻 One-day vignette: will cost 210 CZK instead of 200 CZK.
What is the best way to buy a vignette in the Czech Republic?
In order not to overpay, we recommend that you buy a vignette for the next year at the old price until the end of the current year. The most convenient and cost-effective way to do this is to visit the official website.
Also, don't forget that in addition to the vignette, a Green Card, an international motor third party liability policy, is required for travelling to the Czech Republic and other European countries.
You can buy a Green Card on the Visit Ukraine portal. But hurry up, because there are only 5 days left to buy at the old prices! You can apply for a Green Card online without leaving your home.
From 2025, Ukrainian insurance companies will have more freedom to set tariffs for Green Card policies. This means that prices may increase significantly.
We remind you! From 2025, the conditions for issuing a Green Card will change.
