Tour program:

1 day: Yaremche/Ivano-Frankivsk - Kvasy village - polonyna & Menchul

Distance: 8 km

In the morning, we meet at the train station and go to the village of Kvasy in Zakarpattia region. At the very beginning of the route there is a spring with delicious mineral water. The hike starts from here. We will walk through a beautiful beech forest and Hutsul meadows. Beautiful panoramas of the Svydovets mountain range will open around us. We will spend the night in the Menchul meadow at the edge of the forest, where we will be able to set up tents, cook dinner, and taste the meadow milk.

Day 2: Mount Sheshul (1689 m) - Mount Petros (2020 m) - eco-point Peremichka

Distance: 12 km.

Along the serpentine road we will start climbing Mount Sheshul (1689 m). The path passes through a beautiful spruce forest. In summer, blueberries grow here in large quantities. Then we will start climbing through juniper thickets to Mount Petros (2020 m). In good weather, the ascent will offer wide panoramas of the surrounding mountains: Gorgany, Marmarosy, and the Svydovets Ridge. The top of Petros will suddenly appear in front of us at the last moment. There is a chapel on the top of the mountain, which becomes a shelter and a refuge for travelers from the weather. From the top of Petros, you can see Hoverla and the entire Montenegrin ridge. After that, we have to overcome a long descent. We will spend the night not far from Petros in a high mountain meadow.

Day 3: Mount Hoverla (2061 m) - Zaroslyak sports and tourist center - Yaremche/Frankivsk
In the morning we will walk through a beautiful spruce forest and start climbing Hoverla. At first it is smooth, but from an altitude of 1700 meters it gradually becomes steep. We walk at an average pace, smoothly approaching the top of the highest mountain in Ukraine. From here we can see almost all of the Carpathians, including our Petros, which we visited yesterday. We take a photo as a souvenir. We start a gradual descent down. We descend into a wooded area, here is the Zaroslyak campsite. This is our finish line.

Additionally, on our website you can purchase travel insurance.
