About this tour

Have you heard of the town on the peninsula that grew up without water?! Or about the Madonna on the minaret?! Or about a unique system of medieval defence structures without analogues in the world?!

Welcome to the walking tour "KAMYANETS-PODILSKYI - A CITY ON THE PENINSULA"!

During the excursion, you will learn a lot of interesting facts and legends, we will walk along the unforgettable hanging bridge through the Smotrytsky Canyon, visit the churches of St. Trinity and St. Peter and Paul, Peter and Paul cathedral, Dominican and Trinitarian churches.

We will visit the Armenian quarter (the bishop's palace, the Armenian bell tower, the oldest stone church of St. Nicholas), we will see the former Orthodox seminary, the house of the Russian magistrate, and streets with unique historical buildings.

An amazing panorama of the city's defence structures, the city's only wooden church, the Russian and Polish filvarkas, and the Old and New Fortresses will open on the Armenian bastion.

It is in Kamianets-Podilskyi that there is a world-unique symbol of the combination of two religions - the Mother of God on the Muslim minaret, the oldest Town Hall in Ukraine and the Castle (Turkish) bridge, 154 architectural monuments on 121 hectares. This city is a flower on a stone peninsula, where different cultures and nationalities coexisted harmoniously for centuries, where you can remember your most cherished desire.
