Schönborn Castle - Palanok-Berehove Castle (thermal pool + wine tasting)

Boarding a tourist bus (8.00 am, departure from the railway station), departure to Zakarpattia. One of the most beautiful and romantic castles in the country is located among the Carpathian mountains. The hunting castle of the Counts Schönborn (1890) invites you to a fairy tale.

It looks at you through 365 windows and invites you through 12 entrances to 52 rooms. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park with many exotic plants. Mukachevo Palanok Castle (XIV century) - This outstanding military and architectural monument of the Middle Ages was built to protect and control trade and military routes. Some sources claim that in the 9th and 10th centuries there was a small fortification on the mountain built to protect the borders of Kievan Rus beyond the Carpathians.

The castle was built by Russian Prince Fyodor Koryatovich and turned into his residence. The castle walls remember their defender Ilona Zrinyi, who showed miracles of courage and heroism during the defense of the castle. If you want to feel like you are in another country where most people do not understand Ukrainian, Russian or English, then you should definitely visit the capital of Hungarian Ukraine - Berehove. Swimming in the thermal pool, wine tasting. Accommodation in rural tourism estates, 2-3-bed rooms with private facilities.

Day 3 - Sunday

Nyzhnye Selyshche - Synevyr Lake - Shipot Waterfall - Lviv.

Breakfast. Transfer to Nyzhnye Selyshche. This unique village in Ukraine is a model of local management. Residents have united in the "Association of Local Development", thanks to which the village's infrastructure has been developed and a cheese dairy has been launched, which invites you to taste different varieties of cheese with wine. The cheese is made using Swiss technology and is the best in Ukraine. Those who like the cheese will be able to buy it at the producer's prices. Lake Synevyr is a self-explanatory sea eye in the crater of a former volcano, located on top of a mountain among a dense coniferous forest... Pylypets waterfall, which fascinates with its cascades between andesite rocks, drops its water into the picturesque valley from a height of 15 meters. The waterfall originates from a large underground spring, the so-called "Sea Eye", in one of the most beautiful places in the Ukrainian Carpathians - the Borzhava valley. The time spent at Shipot helps you to relax from civilization and gives you new vitality. Transfer to Lviv, estimated arrival at 22.30.

Please note: From November to March, the tour to the Synevyr Island is replaced by Mount Makovytsia (750 m), which we will climb by cable car. From the top of the mountain you can see magnificent panoramas of the Carpathian ranges Borzhava and Gorgany, as well as the meanders of the Rika River. This is due to the short daylight hours and bad weather conditions that do not allow you to climb to the lake.

Ticket prices: Schönborn Castle (20/15 UAH), Palanok Castle (70/50 UAH), new thermal pool "Zhayvoronok" in Beregovo (250 UAH, locker rental - 20 UAH), wine tasting (60 UAH), cheese tasting with wine - (60/40 UAH), Synevyr - (30/20 UAH), Shypit waterfall (20/15 UAH).
