Mukachevo Palanok Castle (XIV century) - This outstanding military and architectural monument of the Middle Ages was built to protect and control trade and military routes. Some sources claim that in the 9th and 10th centuries there was a small fortification on the mountain built to protect the borders of Kievan Rus beyond the Carpathians.
The castle was built by Russian Prince Fyodor Koryatovich and turned into his residence. The castle walls remember their defender Ilona Zrinyi, who showed miracles of courage and heroism during the defense of the castle. Pylypets waterfall, which fascinates with its cascades between andesite rocks, drops its water into the picturesque valley from a height of 15 meters. The waterfall originates from a large underground spring, the so-called "Sea Eye", in one of the most beautiful places in the Ukrainian Carpathians - the Borzhava valley. The time spent at Shipot helps you to relax from civilization and gives you new vitality. Transfer to Lviv, estimated arrival at 22.30.

This is due to the short daylight hours and bad weather conditions that do not allow you to climb to the lake.
