The Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that from now on, it is possible to order the exchange and restoration of a driver's license through the Driver's Electronic Office.

You can pick up the finished document either at a service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs convenient for you, or at the nearest Ukrposhta branch, or you can order home delivery by an Ukrposhta courier.

The approximate cost of the service is UAH 254 for the certificate form, UAH 26 for the administrative services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center, and UAH 294 for logistics costs, a bank commission may also be charged.

Driver's license exchange services are provided in the following cases:

⦁ in case the certificate is unusable for further use (damaged, records cannot be read, etc.):

⦁ in the event of a change in the personal data of the owner (surname, surname, first name, patronymic, gender - based on a document confirming such a change);

⦁ at the request of the owner (for example, for the purpose of obtaining a more modern form, or clarifying personal data in Latin letters, replacing a photo, etc.);

⦁ after the expiration date.

Driver's license restoration services are provided in the following cases:

⦁ in case of theft (then you need to contact the police first);

⦁ in case of loss.

The duration of the service is up to 10 days.

In order to exchange or renew a driver's license, you must:

⦁ authorize in the Driver's Electronic Cabinet by choosing a convenient method — using an electronic signature, BankID or Diia.Signature;

⦁ select the "Electronic services" item in the services menu, then find and select "Driver's license renewal and exchange";

⦁ check the correctness of the contact data and mark one of the proposed options in the "Choose a reason" block;

⦁ fill in all mandatory application fields;

⦁ choose a service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that is convenient for you, or a post office of the national operator of the postal service, where you plan to get a manufactured driver's license;

⦁ sign the statement using an electronic signature, BankID or Diia.Signature;

⦁ pay for the service with a personal bank card;

⦁ receive an automatic message about the successful submission of an application for the service "Restoration and exchange of a driver's license", at this stage you can already follow changes in the status of the application in the Driver's Electronic Cabinet;

⦁ get a ready-made driver's license in person at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or at the post office of Ukrposhta.

Importantly! As soon as the application for the exchange or restoration of the driver's license is processed, the old license will disappear from the driver's Electronic Cabinet and the "Action" application, and a new one will appear after receiving the document in person.
