How to dress for the street, if the street lights are turned off?

The Russian Federation continues to bombard Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Due to enemy shelling in the first half of October, Russian troops damaged or destroyed about 30% of energy infrastructure facilities.
In this regard, in order to save money in many cities, street lighting is turned off during the dark hours of the day. We tell you how to dress properly in such cases so as not to expose yourself to danger.
Choose light things, but not all your clothes have to be white. Light can be half of your clothes, for example, a jacket or pants.
Buy accessories with reflective elements, for example, a bracelet, backpack strap or vest. Reflectors make you visible to drivers and reduce the risk of being hit by a car by six times.
Make sure that the children's clothes have reflective elements. Place them at the level of the child's head, body and hands, because children are less visible due to their smaller height.
Take care of your pets as well, buy glowing collars or special clothes with light-reflecting elements for the animal.
How to properly wear reflectors?
The most noticeable are reflective elements with a size of 15 square centimeters. They should be placed at the driver's level of vision and on the moving parts of your body - forearms, wrists, ankles.
The most visible color of the reflector is yellow. If you are moving across the road, the reflector should be facing you on the side from which traffic is moving towards you, and preferably on both sides.
Keep yourselves!
