Curfew on New Year's Eve: what restrictions will apply in the regions of Ukraine
Holidays are not an excuse to ignore the rules and expose yourself to danger. Remember that there is a curfew on the territory of Ukraine starting from February 24. Find out how restrictions will apply in different regions for the New Year
New Year and Christmas holidays are approaching. Even despite the terrible war, Ukrainians do not lose heart and prepare for the holidays. But do not forget that the New Year is not an excuse to disregard the rules and expose yourself to danger.
Remember that there is a curfew on the territory of Ukraine starting from February 24. This is a time imposed to maintain law and order. Usually, the curfew lasts from 11:00 p.m. until 05:00 a.m. the next day. During this period, it is not possible to be in public places and to move through the streets by transport or on foot.
In connection with the New Year holidays, there are no changes in the curfew schedule. The local government of cities and regions of the country did not give any comments on the easing of restrictions on New Year's Eve.
Current restrictions: how will the curfew work on New Year's Eve in different regions of Ukraine
• Kharkiv Oblast, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa Oblast, Poltava Oblast, Ternopil Oblast, Cherkasy Oblast, Kryvyi Rih, Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast: from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.;
• Lviv Oblast, Dnipro Oblast, Rivne Oblast, Vinnytsia Oblast, Volyn, Zhytomyr Oblast, Mykolaiv Oblast, Khmelnytsky Oblast and Chernivtsi Oblast: from 00:00 to 05:00;
• Chernihiv region and Sumy region: from 23:00 to 04:00;
• Donetsk region and Luhansk region: from 21:00 to 05:00;
• Kherson region: from 19:00 to 06:30;
• Transcarpathia: there is no curfew.
