In connection with the difficult humanitarian situation, active hostilities and deteriorating weather in Donbas, an evacuation train is being launched for local residents. We tell you how to register for evacuation and when it begins.


How and from where will the evacuation train depart?


The evacuation will take place from Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, to Smila, Cherkasy region, starting on January 2, 2023. Citizens will be able to use the flight absolutely free of charge.


Flights will be operated once every four days on even numbers: for example, if the first train departs on January 2, the next one will depart on January 6, and so on.


Registration for evacuation from Donetsk region


Those wishing to evacuate must first register. There are several ways:


• call the following numbers: (098) 890-33-18, (066) 285-62-90;

• report intentions to evacuate to the hotlines of village and settlement councils and military administrations.


To evacuate the seriously ill and persons with disabilities, please call:


• (099) 710-48-72;

• (099) 311-53-14;

• (099) 311-53-36;

• (096) 108-60-48;

• (096) 108-52-24.


You can also contact the hotline of the Ministry of Reintegration: 15-48 or write to messengers at the number: (096) 078-84-33.


What awaits the evacuees in the Cherkasy region?


The Ministry of Reintegration assures that internally displaced persons will be accommodated in free shelters. They will also be provided with financial, humanitarian and psychological assistance, as well as social support.
