Internally displaced persons (IDPs) can apply for a subsidy for the payment of communal services. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor and Employment Reintegration.

Importantly! It is allowed to issue a subsidy based on the actual place of residence. Immigrants indicate the composition of the household in the relevant declaration, so it is not necessary to conclude a housing rental agreement.

How to apply for a housing subsidy for immigrants?

Step 1: Contact one of the institutions or apply for a subsidy online

Apply by contacting:

• Center for provision of administrative services;

• service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;

• an authorized official of the executive body of the village, settlement, city council of the relevant territorial community.

Use one of the online services:

"Diia" portal;

website of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU);

• PFU supplement. Download it for Android and IOS.

Step 2: Prepare the necessary documents

• Application for the appointment of a subsidy;

• Declaration of income and expenses;

• Information about household residents;

• Passport and registration number of the taxpayer's card;

• Certificate on the status of an internally displaced person.

The application and declaration are made according to the established form.

Step 3: Read all the important information

Please note that the amount of the subsidy depends on the cost of accrued utilities and the level of family income (excluding payment to resettled persons). At the same time, living assistance provided to IDPs is not taken into account as family income when assigning the subsidy.

Remember where to find out if a subsidy is available. On the website subsidii.ioc.gov.ua, you can check the status of the application and the amount of the subsidy. To find your application, just enter the address of your place of residence.

We remind you! Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers supported the easing of conditions for repayment of consumer loans for resettled people. Read more about the new conditions and who will be able to count on them here.
