Poland is a country where the comfort of life depends on many factors, such as the city of residence, income level, access to healthcare and education services, and the quality of infrastructure. Some regions can provide a high standard of living with comfortable conditions, while others may have their own challenges. It is important to carefully evaluate all these aspects before deciding to move or live in Poland.

Business Insider has published a ranking of the best settlements in Poland for comfortable living.

What are the best places to live in Poland?

Experts have compiled and presented a list including the 16 most attractive cities to live in the country. The ranking contains some surprises - popular cities like Warsaw and Krakow did not make it to the top. So, which city in Poland is the most comfortable to live in? Find out in the article below.

When compiling this rating, experts collected 6 key criteria: unemployment rate, salary, housing affordability, quality of healthcare, crime rate, and air quality. Each city received a score for these parameters.

At the top of the list of the best cities to live in Poland is Poznan, the administrative center of the Greater Poland Region. All the categories considered contributed to the city's inclusion in the top ten. The low unemployment rate and high salaries were important factors. Additionally, Poznan has extremely adequate housing prices, which contributed to its recognition as the best in the list.

Katowice took the second place in the ranking, a city with affordable housing. However, the air quality in this region is not impressive.

Opole took third place. On the contrary, it has the highest level of air quality.

Despite the fact that Warsaw and Krakow have economic advantages (high wages and low unemployment), they lost out due to high housing costs and air quality problems, and thus they took relatively low positions in the ranking.
