Ukrainian citizens have been closely following the news for the last few days, as several important events are taking place in the world - the UN General Assembly, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky went, and the 15th congress of Kiev's allies at the "Ramstein" base. We tell you what these events are already memorable and what they promise to Ukraine.

Ramstein meeting

As you know, Ukrainian allies regularly hold a meeting at the American base "Ramstein" in Germany. There the parties, in particular, discuss Ukraine's military needs to confront russian terrorists.

This week, the 15th congress has already taken place.

Thus, several countries at once reported on the allocation of military aid for Ukraine. For example, the UK promised to send artillery shells to the AFU by the end of the year, and Germany - allocated a new aid package for 400 million euros.

In addition, Denmark (together with other countries) has decided to transfer to Kiev another fifty tanks, at the same time in the near future Ukraine will receive the long-awaited American Abrams tanks.

It is worth noting that from Ukraine to the meeting "Ramstein" for the first time went to the new Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov. Here's how he commented on another allied convention:

"I also familiarized our colleagues with the latest data on the fighting and emphasized the urgent need to the end of the year. The Defense Ministry has identified five clusters that need priority attention - air defense, artillery, aviation, navy and armored vehicles," Umerov said.

In addition, at the Ramstein meeting, the allies talked about the ongoing Ukrainian counteroffensive. According to American General Mark Milley, the Ukrainians will continue the offensive in the cold season. And arms talks at various levels -- allowing troops to liberate their own land -- will continue in the coming days and hours.

Zelensky's trip to the UN General Assembly

The Ukrainian president recently traveled to American New York, where the 78th session of the UNGA, which brought together the leaders of 140 countries, kicked off.

During the first days of the event, Zelensky addressed the world community and touched on a number of very important topics concerning the necessary peace in Ukraine and the steps to be taken for this purpose.

In particular, Zelensky called for the nuclear disarmament of russia. The President recalled that during the twentieth century the world learned to refrain from using weapons of mass destruction, but this strategy "should not be the only one to protect the world from the last war."

"Ukraine gave up its third largest nuclear arsenal. Then the world decided that russia should become the guardian of such a force," Zelensky said, referring to the 1994 Budapest Memorandum.

"However, history shows that it was russia that most deserved nuclear disarmament back in the 1990s. And it deserves it now - terrorists have no right to possess nuclear weapons," he emphasized.

Also during his speech, the president invited the states to participate in a summit on the "peace formula", which he presented last year at the G20 meeting.

What else will Zelensky do in New York?

In addition to his speech at the UN, the Ukrainian president will hold a number of bilateral meetings - with the leaders of the United States, Poland and Israel.

Negotiations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have already taken place. At them the leaders discussed cooperation in the field of civil defense and protection of human life. Netanyahu was also briefed on the situation on the front and air strikes, including Iranian drones, which russia continues to launch on peaceful Ukrainian cities, civilian objects and port infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda was postponed due to a busy schedule.

Tome talks between US leader Joe Biden and Zelensky will be held on September 21. All Ukrainians hope that the American President will finally agree to transfer to the AFU long-range missiles ATACMS.

We remind you! The House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress said that they will begin an official investigation into the impeachment of the current President of America. Why Joe Biden is being charged and what consequences it may have for Ukraine, we tell you here.
