Now, thanks to this innovative service, parents can quickly and easily obtain the necessary document without leaving their homes. Learn more about how to do it
The Cabinet of Ministers has supported the issuance of a permit for a child to travel abroad online. The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced the new innovative service on his Telegram channel.
He emphasized that from now on, the state application Diia will make it possible to conveniently and quickly obtain a temporary permit for a child to travel abroad.
The new service in Diia is provided absolutely free of charge, while the traditional method of obtaining consent from a notary remains available for parents who choose this option.
Fedorov emphasized that the aim of the new service is to provide accessible and efficient public services for citizens and to develop the Diia system as a key tool for modern society.
How do I get permission for my child to travel through Diia?
To obtain a temporary permit, both parents must have Diia installed. One of them submits an application for permission, and the other gives his or her consent in the application by signing.
After the application is confirmed, the data is automatically entered into the State Register of Civil Status Acts, which allows border guards to effectively check the information online.
