You can now buy a ticket for the Kyiv-Warsaw train only through Diia: details
Train №67/68 is one of the most popular trains in Ukraine, and therefore it is almost impossible to get tickets for this flight. Find out how Ukrzaliznytsia solved the problem of overbuying and how to buy tickets through Diia.Signature
Tickets for the Kyiv - Warsaw - Kyiv direct flight receive more than 3,000 searches per day, which means that the demand for the flight is 10 times higher than the number of seats on the train. In addition, due to the popularity of the route, it is almost impossible to buy tickets, as fraudsters buy them up to pass them on at a much higher price.
But now this problem has been solved, as Ukrzaliznytsia has integrated Diia into its app, which means that to buy a ticket for this flight, a passenger will have to go through mandatory verification through Diia.Signature.
As a reminder, you can buy train, bus, and plane tickets within Ukraine and between cities around the world through Visit Ukraine's convenient booking service. The website has a bonus points system that allows you to save money while traveling.
How will the problem of overbuying be solved?
According to Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation, verification will help track down potential overbuying. After all, in order to buy or return a ticket, you will need to put an electronic signature through Diia. In this case, any account with suspicious activity (a large number of booked tickets, and after their mass return) will be thoroughly checked and, if violations are detected, the user will be blocked.
"Account verification through Diia.Signature will allow us to track potential touts and block their accounts after verification. The account will be marked accordingly, and the user will not be able to buy tickets for the Kyiv - Warsaw train and return them online, even if they uninstall the app and try to pass verification through another device," the statement said.

What is Diia.Signature and how to get it: instructions
Diia.Signature is a qualified electronic signature. To activate it, you need to have at least one of the biometric documents in Diia: ID card, passport or residence permit.
To create a Diia.Signature:
1. Open the Diia app.
2. Go to Menu - Diia .Signature
3. Click Activate Diia .Signature
4. Confirm your identity (through photo verification)
5. Create a 5-digit code for Diia.Signature.
How to buy a ticket through Diia?
In order to buy a ticket for the train Kyiv - Warsaw - Kyiv, open the Ukrzaliznytsia app and:
1. select the train №67/68 Kyiv-Warsaw
2. confirm your identity via Diia.Signature
3. select a carriage and seat
4. fill in the fields with personal data (manually or via autocomplete)
5. pay for the ticket in a way convenient for you
