"Ukrzaliznytsia" has presented an innovative train schedule for 2024, introducing 14 new routs, of which 11 will cover domestic routes and 3 will cover international destinations.

These changes will also improve 19 routs both within and outside Ukraine, as well as expand the network of connections for different regions.

New UZ train schedule for 2024: list

Among the main innovations in the international direction is the launch of a new train No. 119/120 Dnipro-Chelm with a convenient interchange hub in the direction of Warsaw.

There are also plans to develop hub connections through Chop, including new international trains Chop-Vienna and Chop-Prague, which connect with various trains in Ukraine.

Updated domestic routes in Ukraine

A number of new routes have been designated on the domestic network, such as No. 51/52 Odesa - Zaporizhzhia, which will run every other day, and No. 129/130 Kremenchuk - Chernivtsi, also running every other day, which will provide a direct connection between Chernivtsi and Kremenchuk and an alternative route to Kyiv for the first time.

Regular train service is also planned, such as No. 216/215 Zaporizhzhia - Chernivtsi, No. 193/192 Kryvyi Rih - Yasinia, No. 345/346 Uzhhorod - Chernivtsi, which will connect different regions and contribute to infrastructure development.

These changes also include improving popular routes by making some trains, such as No. 5/6 Zaporizhzhia-Yasinia, No. 40/39 Zaporizhzhia-Solotvyno, and No. 368/367 Lutsk-Uzhhorod, daily.

In addition, the new schedule expands the possibilities of connections in the southern regions and mountain resorts.

For example, train No. 25/26 Odesa-Rakhiv has a more convenient departure schedule, and route No. 357/358 Kyiv-Vorokhta will be extended to Yasinia station, the starting point of popular mountain routes.

With these changes, Ukrzaliznytsia aims not only to improve connections and travel convenience for passengers.
