UZ extends Lviv-Warsaw train route to Chernivtsi: new timetable
Recently it became known that Ukrzaliznytsia has extended the route of the Lviv-Warsaw train. From now on, the train will run to Chernivtsi. Find out more about the updated route and timetable
Due to a large number of passenger requests, Ukrzaliznytsia has agreed to extend the Warsaw-Rava-Ruska-Lviv-Kolomyia route. From now on, after Kolomyia, the train will run to the final station in Chernivtsi. We will tell you when the new connection is planned to be launched in the article.
New route to Chernivtsi: details
The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia announced the launch of train No. 868/867 from Warsaw to Chernivtsi in an experimental mode.
As early as November, passengers will be able to use the new route:
● Departures from Chernivtsi to Rava-Ruska are scheduled for 15, 17, 19, 21, 25 and 27 November, at 3:02. The train will run through Sniatyn, Zabolotiv, Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kalush, Dolyna, Morshyn, Stryi, Lviv, Bryukhovychi and Zhovkva. Arrival in Rava-Ruska will be at 9:58.
● Departures from Rava-Ruska to Chernivtsi are scheduled for 14, 16, 20, 23, 25 and 27 November at 6:15. The train will arrive at the final station in Chernivtsi at 13:20.
It is noted that at the Rava-Ruska station there is a transfer to the train of the Polish railway carrier SKPL, which will take passengers to Warsaw. Arrival in Warsaw is at 17:18.
Additional flights Chernivtsi - Rava-Ruska
Ukrzaliznytsia has agreed on additional flights in this direction:
● Train No. 866/865 from Chernivtsi to Rava-Ruska is scheduled to depart on 14, 16, 20, 23, 25, 27 November at 14:45. The train will arrive in Ivano-Frankivsk at 17:03, in Lviv at 20:07, and in Rava-Ruska at 22:02.
● Departures in the opposite direction from Rava-Ruska are scheduled for 14, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 26 November at 16:19. The train will arrive in Lviv at 17:54, in Ivano-Frankivsk at 21:33 and in Chernivtsi at 23:42.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
Hotel guests are obliged to keep the 1.5 meters distance.
Online check-in making in advance is recommended to avoid queues at check-in to hotel.
Meals in hotels are provided through meals delivery service to rooms upon prior order or at hotel restaurants situated inside or in open areas, provided the distance of at least 1.5 meters between seats at adjacent tables.
Not more than 4 clients are allowed to stay at the table (excluding children under 14 years old). Unless these tables are separated by a special partition;
Self-serve is not allowed.
