Update from Ukrzaliznytsia: a new train to the Carpathians and more seats on other popular routes
Ukrzaliznytsia has added seats to the most popular routes in December and launched another train to western Ukraine. Find out which routes have additional seats and what schedules the Sumy-Rakhiv train will run on
Due to the increased demand for some routes within Ukraine and international trains, Ukrzaliznytsia has assigned additional cars to the most popular routes.
"Traditionally, in December we see an increase in demand for rail travel. Therefore, we add cars to the trains of the most popular destinations," the carrier's press service said.
Ukrzaliznytsia also reported that on December 19, a new train No. 143/144 departed for the first time from the north to the west of Ukraine.
What trains have additional cars been assigned to?
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, additional seats are already available on the following trains:
● 67/68 Kyiv - Warsaw
● 7/8 Chernivtsi - Kyiv
● 88/87 Kovel - Zaporizhzhia
● 98/97 Kovel - Kyiv
● 194/193 Kryvyi Rih - Yasinia
● 192/91 Lviv - Kyiv
Train Sumy-Rakhiv: timetable and schedule
On December 19, the first trip of the train 143/144 Sumy-Rakhiv, which connects the northern regions of Ukraine with the resorts of Prykarpattia and Transcarpathia, took place.
The train departs from Sumy at 19:01 on odd numbers. In the opposite direction from Rakhiv, departure is at 18:10 on even numbers.
The route of the train passes through Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Yaremche, Tatariv-Bukovel and Vorokhta.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
