The extension of temporary protection in the Czech Republic is currently being carried out through registration, which is carried out from January 8 to March 15. After this period, you can get a new visa sticker from the Ministry of the Interior, which will allow you to travel to other Schengen countries.

We will tell you whether it is possible for refugees to leave the Czech Republic without a visa in the article.

Traveling outside the Czech Republic without extending protection: details

According to proukrainu.blesk.cz, after online registration, in order to extend temporary protection, you need to get a visa sticker at the Ministry of the Interior. This visit should be made before September 30, 2023, before the expiration of the temporary protection extension after registration.

First of all, Ukrainians are interested in the possibility of leaving the Czech Republic until they have a new visa sticker.

"Traveling to other Schengen countries is possible only with a valid passport and visa sticker," the statement said.

It is noted that the Czech Republic has informed other Schengen countries about the issuance of "Confirmation of electronic registration for the extension of temporary protection". However, Ukrainians are advised to check the conditions of entry into a particular country, as this confirmation does not replace a passport or visa sticker.

Ukrainians should consider the following important aspects:

• In order to leave the Czech Republic without a visa, you must download, print and have with you a confirmation of successful registration for the extension of a temporary protection visa.

• It is recommended to refrain from traveling to non-Schengen countries, except Ukraine.

Confirmation of successful registration can be found in your personal account on the Information Portal for Foreigners. This document becomes available after successful online registration for the extension of temporary protection.
