Every year in Ukraine, daylight saving time (DST) is changed to summer and winter time to save electricity, optimize daylight and align the biological rhythm with the calendar. This process can temporarily disrupt a person's normal life rhythm, requiring adaptation to a new sleep and activity regimen.

We'll tell you when daylight saving time will take place in 2024 and how easy it is to adapt to the changes.

When to switch to daylight saving time in 2024?

This year, the country will switch to daylight saving time on March 31 at three in the morning, moving the clocks forward by one hour. The change will be made at night until Monday, allowing people to adapt to the change before the new work week.

Automatic time change in smartphones does not require any intervention, but mechanical watches need to be set manually.

How to adapt to time change?

To make the change easier, it is important to prepare your body in advance by following these tips:

• A week before the time change, establish a stable sleep pattern;

• Go to bed earlier to minimize the stress of the time change;

• Increase the time spent outdoors, enriching your day with oxygen;

• Avoid stressful situations;

• Eat a balanced diet, including fruits, vegetables, meat, and whole grains;

• Include regular exercise in your daily routine.

We remind you! The eCherha electronic registration system, which was previously aimed at simplifying the border crossing process for lorries and passenger buses, is now extending its availability to drivers of passenger cars. We tell you the details here.
