In mid-May, Ukrainians will be able to use a new electronic cabinet for persons liable for military service to update their information, which will allow them to avoid going to the military commissariat. Find out how you can use the e-cabinet
Very soon, Ukraine will launch an electronic cabinet for persons liable for military service, which will allow Ukrainians to update their data for territorial recruitment centres. We are going to tell you when, in what format and how the e-cabinet will start working.
According to Kateryna Chornohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation, the e-cabinet of persons liable for military service will be launched on 18 May in the format of an application that can be downloaded to a gadget.
"On 18 May, the Ministry of Defence is launching an electronic cabinet for persons liable for military service, as stipulated by the current law... This application is now being literally created, and we are receiving all the necessary documents to make it available to all our citizens," she said.

How will the e-cabinet for persons liable for military service work?
According to the representative of the Ministry of Defence, the e-cabinet will be in the format of a mobile application that will be available in the App Store and Google Play as soon as it goes online.
In order to update the data in the e-cabinet, you will need to download the mobile application, log in and fill in the necessary "fields".
Persons liable for military service will be required to register their data, namely their phone number, email address and actual address of residence in three available formats - at the CCC and JV, through the ASC or through the e-cabinet of the person liable for military service.
She assured that in order to update the data, it will be enough to use the application without visiting the CCC.
"In the future, to clarify other data, if necessary, the CCC will contact the person liable for military service, and then the person liable for military service and the CCC employee will work together... This data can be updated from any convenient location, including from abroad. We believe that the number of people liable for military service who will use this functionality may reach 70-80%, because it will be very convenient," Chornohorenko concluded.
Earlier, we reported that a number of rules for mobilisation to the army will change in Ukraine in May. In particular, the country will abolish the status of limited fitness. From now on, potential recruits will be divided into "fit" and "unfit". However, the category of "fit" will not only mean being sent to the frontline. Read here to find out what this status can mean.
We would also like to remind you that the new law on mobilisation will come into force on 18 May. We have collected all the important information you need to know about the new rules. Details are available here.
