What trains can you change to in Przemyśl: convenient options for Ukrainians

Ukrainian railways have recently been actively developing in the international direction. Flights from Ukraine are available to various EU countries. However, the Polish city of Przemyśl has become a real hub for transfers from Ukrainian trains. With reference to KOSHT, we will tell you what convenient transfer options this city offers.


Ukrainian Intercity+ trains depart for Przemyśl from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia according to a schedule specially coordinated for the convenience of Ukrainian travellers. This allows them to easily transfer to Polish trains in Przemyśl. The system of interchanges allows passengers to easily continue their route not only in Poland but also in the EU.


From Przemyśl, InterCity (IC) trains go to various Polish cities and to Berlin. These intercity trains in Poland are designed for fast connections between cities. InterCity coaches offer several classes of service, which allows passengers to choose the right level of comfort.


There is also a EuroCity (EC) train running from Przemyśl to the Austrian city of Graz, which offers different classes of carriages. Passengers can choose between sleeping cars with comfortable beds, compartment cars or seating. The train carriages offer many amenities, including free Wi-Fi, restaurant and bar areas, and air conditioning, making the journey as comfortable as possible.


Transfers from Ukrainian trains


Train IP 705 on the route Kyiv - Przemyśl departs from the Ukrainian capital daily at 20:05 and arrives in Przemyśl at 4:25 the next morning, passing through Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Lviv.


In Przemyśl, passengers can change trains to the following trains:


- IS 3514 Przemyśl - Gdynia, departure at 6:19, arrival at 18:09, the route passes through Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan and Gdansk.

- IP 56 Przemyśl - Berlin, departure at 7:16, arrival at 17:06, route includes Krakow, Wroclaw and Zielona Góra.

- IP 114 Przemysl - Prague, departure at 8:20, arrival at 17:36, passing through Krakow and Ostrava.

- IC 114 Przemysl - Budapest, also departing at 8:20, but arriving at 19:49, the route passes through Krakow, Ostrava and Bratislava.


The train IC 051/036 on the route Odesa - Kyiv - Premysl departs from Odesa daily at 14:45 and arrives in Przemyśl the next morning at 5:53, passing through Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Lviv.


In Przemyśl, passengers can change trains to the following trains:


- IP 114 Przemyśl - Prague, departure at 8:20, arrival at 17:36, route via Krakow and Ostrava.

- IP 114 Przemyśl - Budapest, departure at 8:20, arrival at 19:49, runs via Krakow, Ostrava and Bratislava.

- IS 3804 Przemyśl - Szczecin, departure at 10:13, arrival at 21:04, route includes Krakow and Wroclaw.

- EC 107 Przemyśl - Graz, departure at 11:10, arrival at 22:13, route via Krakow, Ostrava and Vienna.


The train IC 089/073 Kharkiv - Kyiv - Przemyśl departs from Kharkiv on even days at 13:32 and arrives in Przemyśl the next day at 11:16, passing through Poltava, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Lviv.


The following connections are available in Przemyśl:


- IC 3602 Przemyśl - Wroclaw, departs at 13:25 and arrives at 19:17, the route passes through Rzeszów, Krakow and Gliwice.

- IC 3700 Przemyśl - Poznan, departure at 14:17, arrival at 22:15, passes through Krakow and Wroclaw.

- IC 31104 Przemyśl - Warsaw, departs at 15:00 and arrives at 21:09, the route includes Radom.


The train IC 031 on the route Zaporizhzhia - Przemyśl departs from Zaporizhzhia daily at 20:54 and arrives in Przemyśl at 15:21 the next day, passing through Dnipro, Kamianske and Lviv.


In Przemyśl passengers can transfer to the following trains:


- IC 31100 Przemyśl - Warsaw, departing at 17:27 and arriving at 23:29, the route passes through Rzeszów, Krakow and Gliwice.

- IC 3600 Przemyśl - Wroclaw, departure at 15:53 and arrival at 21:35, the route includes Krakow.


The train IC 715 on the route Kyiv - Przemyśl departs from Kyiv daily at 12:06 and arrives in Przemyśl at 20:20, passing through Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Lviv.


In Przemyśl, passengers can transfer to the train RJ 1022, which goes to Prague. The train departs from Przemyśl at 22:12 and arrives in Prague at 6:37 the next morning. The train route passes through Rzeszów, Krakow and Ostrava, which allows you to conveniently continue your journey towards the Czech Republic.

Transfers to Ukrainian trains


The train IP 706 on the route Przemyśl - Kyiv departs from Przemyśl at 9:35 and arrives in Kyiv at 19:35, passing through Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia.


For passengers arriving in Przemyśl from Prague, there is a convenient connection with the train RJ 1023 Prague-Premysl, which arrives at 7:43. This train passes through Ostrava, Rzeszów and Krakow, allowing travellers to connect to Kyiv without long waiting times.


The train IC 090/074 on the route Przemyśl - Kyiv - Kharkiv departs from Przemyśl at 13:45 and arrives in Kharkiv at 13:53 the next day, passing through Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Poltava.


For passengers arriving in Przemyśl from Warsaw and Wroclaw, the following convenient connections to Kharkiv are available:


- IP 13100 Warsaw - Przemyśl, arrives at 11:30, passing through Gliwice, Krakow and Rzeszów.

- IS 13104 Warsaw - Przemyśl, arrives at 12:22, via Radom.

- IC 6300 Wroclaw - Przemyśl, arrives at 12:18, passes through Krakow.


The train IC 032 on the route Przemyśl - Zaporizhzhia departs from Przemyśl at 18:07 and arrives in Zaporizhzhia the next day at 14:47, passing through Lviv, Kamianske and Dnipro.


For passengers arriving in Przemyśl by the following trains, there is a convenient transfer to the train in Zaporizhzhia:


- IP 7300 Poznan - Przemyśl, arrives at 13:54, passes through Wroclaw, Opole, Katowice and Krakow.

- IP 63104 Wroclaw - Przemyśl, arrives at 15:03, the route includes Opole, Katowice and Krakow.

- IC 73104 Zielona Góra - Przemyśl, arrives at 16:04, passing through Wrocław, Opole, Katowice and Kraków.

- IC 106 Graz - Przemyśl, arrives at 16:24, passing through Vienna, Ostrava, Katowice and Krakow.


The train IC 052/036 on the route Przemyśl - Kyiv - Odesa departs from Przemyśl at 20:08 and arrives in Odesa the next day at 12:55, passing through Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv.


Convenient connections to Odesa are available for passengers arriving in Przemyśl on the following trains:


- EC 106 Graz - Przemyśl, arrives at 16:24, passes through Vienna, Ostrava, Katowice and Krakow.

- IC 8304 Szczecin - Przemyśl, arrives at 17:51, the route includes Wroclaw, Opole, Katowice and Krakow.


The train IC 716 on the route Przemyśl - Kyiv departs Przemyśl at 23:26 and arrives in Kyiv at 9:58 the next day, passing through Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia.


In Przemyśl, passengers can make use of the following convenient connections:


- IC 115 Prague - Przemyśl, arriving at 19:19, passing through Ostrava, Katowice and Krakow.

- IS 115 Budapest - Przemyśl, arrives at 20:29, passes through Bratislava, Ostrava, Katowice and Krakow.

- IC 57 Berlin - Przemyśl, arrives at 20:43, passing through Wroclaw, Opole, Katowice and Krakow.
